Für uns ist dies eines der schönsten Flecken hier auf der Insel.
Da die Festival Abfüllung schon die Woche über verkauft wurde, hielt sich der Andrang vor dem Shop in Grenzen und man konnte sich entspannt der Musik, den darstellenden Künstlern und dem kulinarischen Angebot widmen.
Der kostenlose Shuttle Bus machte auch die Anreise sehr entspannt, dank Stuart Doyle (Islay Taxis) und seinen Mitarbeitern.

For us this is one of the most beautiful places on this island.
As the festival bottling already was on sale all week, the rush in front of the shop wasn't too heavy and the crowd enjoyed the music, the artists and the culinary offering.
Thanks to Stuart Doyle (Islay Taxis), free shuttle busses helped getting from and to the premises very convenient.

Die Masterclass mit Dr. Kirstie McCallum und Andrew Brown schloss einerseits für uns den Open Day, knüpfte jedoch nahtlos und äußerst kurzweilig an ihre Vorstellung vom Dinner am Abend zuvor an.

Bereits am Vorabend zum Festival hatte Bunnahabhain zum Dinner ins Bridgend Hotel geladen - und wir konnten diesem Ruf nicht widerstehen.
Unsere Gastgeber waren Dr. Kirstie McCallum, Masterblenderin und Andrew Brown, Distillery Manager, sowie der Mister Bunnahabhain, John Mcgillivray.
Ein sehr lustiger Abend mit allerlei für den kulinarischen Genuss, dominiert durch verbale Duelle der Protagonisten. Äußerst amüsant, gerne wieder!

Bunnahabhain invited for a dinner to the Bridgend Hotel the night before their festival day - a call we were not able to resist.
Our hosts were Dr. Kirstie McCallum, Master Blender and Andrew Brown, Distillery Manager, and last but not least Mister Bunnahabhain, John Mcgillivray .
A funny evening with quite some culinary delights, dominated by verbal duels of the actors - highly enjoyable, we'd be happy to have that again.
